The “Collegio Quartier Novo” residence is located in the historic center of Cremona, just a few steps from the new University Campus. The building, dating back to the 1600s, was for many years an Austrian barracks and has undergone a complete renovation.
Currently, the residence is managed by EDiSU (Agency for the Right to University Education) of Pavia and is a mixed facility hosting both male and female students enrolled at the various universities in Cremona.
Types of Accommodation and Services
The residence offers single, double, and triple rooms. Students share common areas, including six equipped kitchens, a dining room, and a study room.
Access Procedure
Students enrolled at the University of Pavia can access the residence through a competition. Students enrolled at other universities in Cremona may be admitted only if places remain available after the competition results, which are announced at the beginning of September. For students admitted outside the competition, the fee is fixed and does not depend on income; it corresponds to the maximum rate, which may vary from year to year.
The residence is closed during August and the Christmas holidays.
